Vintage Rare Butterscotch Bakelite Carved Buckle Set Gorgeous deeply carved set of two 1 1/8 inch octagonal shaped butterscotch buckles that attach together to form a buckle about 2 1/4 inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide. The bakelite part is 1/4 inch deep and carved with rays coming out of a center depression. The buckle attachments for attaching the belt are still attached. One of the metal parts that attach the two pieces together is partially corroded while the other is in fine conditon. It is a beautiful rich light buttterscotch color. I was surprised to find such a beautiful item in such fine condition considering its age.

Vintage le chic West Germany Glass Carded Buttons Jade Five jade green glass self-shank buttons with gold specs and striations as part of the top of the button. The bottom of the card reads "3 No. 5349 - 22(9/16") 5 ON JADE (S8)". On the side is written "WESTERN GERMANY". The card still has the price sticker of 7 cents! Printed on the card is 25 cents. What a bargain! The buttons are held on the card by string. The card shows wear along the edges and the hangtag hole is "broken".

Vintage Lucite 8 Cherry red Moonglow W/shank Eight Vintage Lucite Very cherry red Moonglow Half Round Buttons with a metal shank that are oh so very retro! They are a beautiful red that photos are really hard to do justice to. Each is about 11/16 inch in diameter.

Handmade Wooden Duck Sewing caddy w buttons, buckles Adorable handmade wooden Duck with a needle strawberry, needle "tomato" and 3 wooden pegs for the three wooden spools of thread. The head of the duck has a hole in the top of its head so a pair scissors can be inserted and stored. An old pair of scissors has been included as well as 5 red buttons(1 7/8" x 1 1/4"), pink mother of pearl buckle (2 1/2"x 1 5/8") and a black plastic buckle(about 2 3/8" x1 7/8"). The duck is 5 3/4 inches winde at the base and 5 3/4 inches tall. What an addition for someone's collection! It really is one of a kind. Someone has woodburned the wings as well as a whimsical expression on his face.
