James Bama Doc Savage World's Fair Goblin Print Signed
James Bama drew the covers for the first 67 paperbacks for Bantam using actor Steve Holland as a model. The poster, #308 of 1100, measures 15.75" by 24" with an image area of 11.5" by 18.5". It is signed and numbered by the artist. He later became widely known for his Western prints. This is copyrighted by Conde Nast in 1992. We picked up several of these prints at an estate sale. This one has slight signs of waviness and a small yellow stain at the bottom of the border due to possible water damage. The print itself is not damaged. The original purchase price when this was first printed was $70.
