1568

Ansonia ACTOR Royal Bonn 30-hour Clock c.1905 This beautiful clock is in clean original condition. Paper dial is still good with only slight darkening due to age. There are no chips or cracks in the case that I can find. The case is a mixture of wonderful, hand painted colors with gold highlights. The minute and hour hand appear to be original as well as the dial and the bevel glass bezel.

This clock is a windup clock that lasts for approximately 30 hours. The clock movement is working and keeping good time and was serviced recently. There are some numbers inside the clock that are hand written but I don't know what they mean.

The beautiful case of the clock is the famous ROYAL BONN porcelain china case and it is in excellent condition overall. Ansonia named this clock ACTOR and that is written on the back of the clock below the Royal Bonn seal.

This clock measures 7 inches tall by 5 inches wide at the widest part and 2 inches deep. This clock is indeed a rare find in this condition.

2128

Antique 1935 Annular Wind Up Clock by Lux 2128 If you are looking for an unusual clock, you've found it for sure. This style of clock is called an annular clock. It has what looks like a tape measure band around the clock except that the numerals are the time of day. There is an indicator on the clock telling the time of day. The band of numerals is mounted to the top half of the clock and as the top half rotates and the indicator on the bottom half stays stationary, you can tell the time and watch it as it passes by the indicator.
This clock was designed by Mr. Lux, the famous clock movement maker. He designed lots of most unusual clocks and must have had a lot of fun doing so.

This clock is operating wonderfully and keeps accurate time. It is a one-day windup clock via the winding key on the bottom of the clock. The case of the clock is a good condition with only a few wear marks from normal wear.

This clock measures 5 inches in diameter at its base and 3 inches tall.

1920's Celluloid Two-Tone 30-hour Clock 2381 This beautiful clock is in clean original condition. The dial has some staining on it but is still readable while adding to its antique appearance. There is some cracking of the celluloid on the four corners of the clock, but looks as if those cracks have now stopped and probably won't get any worse. The clock case is moulded and still strong. The case is a mixture of wonderful colors and the pink highlight around the dial reeks for a place to set on your antique vanity. The minute and hour hand appear to be original as well as the dial and the bevel glass bezel.

This clock is a windup clock that lasts for approximately 30 hours and is unusual in that it has a second hand dial at the 6 o'clock position. The clock movement is working and keeping good time and was serviced recently.

2690

1929 Westclox Sleep Meter Peg Leg Style Alarm Clock Here is another mighty blast from the past. This clock is in the famous family of the Westclox Clock Company Sleep Meter clocks. This all-metal clock has been serviced inside and cleaned up on the outside. It is running great and keeping good time.

The dial is very clean and runs great.

It is an alarm clock and on the top of the clock are two settings. One side is for SILENT or ALARM selection.

The front glass of this clock is in perfect condition and all functions for this clock are working properly. It needs to be wound every night before you go to bed (one winding lasts approximately 24 hours). This clock is in great condition for 84 years of age.

As I remember, one of the Westclox selling points to this clocks was that the base is Nickel plated and this one certainly appears to be that type of metal. There are no cracks in the metal anywhere on the clock that I can find.

This model of clock is highly sought after and rather rare with its white dial face and wide base stand. I am sure you will enjoy this clock as much as I have. The clock itself weighs in at 2 pounds so you can relate to the fact that this is a hefty and well-built clock.

2775

1900's Sessions Chiming Mantel Clock This clock runs wonderful and has a very pleasant ticking sound. It chimes the hour count on the hour with a very deep gong tone. It is an 8-day windup clock mechanism. You simply wind both mainsprings once each week and it will run its heart out for you.

This clock has a spiral gong chime assembly that makes a wonderful tone when it strikes the hour.

The clock case is a dark wood finish and the case is in great condition.

The clock movement is all brass and it has been serviced and lubricated so ready for duty. The dial of this clock is open with no doors or covers so the time can be easily adjusted whenever needed. The brass winding key comes with the clock as pictured.

This clock has had excellent care and is looking for a new home to spend some quality time with. Could it be your house?

Click for more detail...

1871

Antique Early 1900's Sessions Gingerbread Clock The beautiful old clock is from the early 1900's, maybe around 1905 or 1907. It has an authentic Sessions Clock Company brass clock movement. The case doesn't have a name on it anywhere so cannot exactly pinpoint the year of manufacture for this clock.

The brass movement has been checked and serviced and the clock is running perfectly and keeping good time. This is a chiming/striking clock that counts the hour every hour at the top of the hour. It also strikes the half hour with one chime.

The winding key comes the clock and when the mainsprings are fully wound, the clock will run for approximately 8 days. These clocks were always wound on the same day of the week--usually on Sundays.

The clock case is in great condition with the normal wear for being around over 100 years. There are no broken pieces that I can find.

The front door has some reverse artwork in gold. It is a wonderful pattern that enhances the appearance of the clock. The pendulum also appears to be original with the clock--very ornate and beautiful. The wood appears to be oak and there are no splits or cracks that I can find.
