Bell & Howell 16mm Motion Picture Sound Projector
Here is the Grand Daddy of movie projectors without a doubt. It only will show 16mm films which are the motion picture type films for the home projector markets. 16mm film is about 1/2 inch wide and some films are several hundred/thousands of feet in length. You can purchase REAL old movies in the 16mm format. All of them can be played on this projector with sound if the film has sound magnetically recorded on the film tape.
I do have some 16mm films for sale in this store. Some of them are done as home movies with no sound and some are professionally done with sound. You can purchase all sorts of films in 16mm by searching for them on the internet.
This particular machine is in excellent condition. The light is very bright and any films I have shown on it are very high definition and very clear. Generally speaking, the larger the film size the farther away the screen can be from the projector and the better the definition will be. 16mm is the largest size for home movies that I know of. There also is Standard 8mm and Super 8mm (which are around 1/4 inch wide) film sizes but this projector will not show those small films.
If you are looking to start showing movies WITH SOUND outdoors this summer, this is the projector for you. It has its own built-in speaker and an external jack for another speaker if you need one.
The photos pretty well show the features on this machine. It comes with an extra light bulb and a 7 inch take-up reel. The machine itself weighs about 35 pounds so choose the shipping method you think will work best for that weight versus the cost.

Vintage Argus Mod 890Z Dual 8 Movie Projector
What a great and compact 8mm projector this item is. It will show either the Super 8mm movies or the older Regular 8mm movie films. It is easy to use, totally self threading and even has a SLOW MOTION switch if you really want to zero in on the action frame by frame.
It has the feature of reversing the film if you want to back up and review, you can also run the projector with or without the light on if you have that need.
The spindle shaft (reel shaft) size requirements are different between Super 8mm and Regular 8mm so there is an insert on the film reel shaft that adapts from one size to the other. You simply remove the insert for 8mm and put it back on for Super 8mm film. In addition, to change from one size film to the other, just flip the switch as shown in the photos and all is ready to go.
This particular projector is very clean and doesn't appear to have been used much at all. It is compact and won't take much storage room. It will also take the 7 inch large reels (400 ft) in addition to the 5 inch and 3 inch reels.
Here is a machine that does it all and produces a bright and colorful image of the precious family films.

Bell & Howell Model 467A Dual 8 Movie Projector
This Bell & Howell MULTI-MOTION projector is a Dual 8 projector. It will run both the Super 8 movies and the Standard 8mm movies. This projector has about every feature a person could want. It is a self-threading film model. The machine has a lever for advancing the film forward in a normal mode, slow motion mode or step mode. It also has a reverse mode. Take a close look at the photos and I think you will quickly see all the capabilities of this unit.

This Bell & Howell MULTI-MOTION projector is a Dual 8 projector. It will run both the Super 8 movies and the Standard 8mm movies. This projector has about every feature a person could want. It has the Framer lever and a switch that has Lamp, Motor and Off. It works great. A metal take-up reel comes with the projector. The unit is compact and has the metal lid with a pushbutton that opens the projector when depressed. There is a switch on the projector that has Reverse, Still and Forward. The electrical cord is new. It has the brown bake-lite handle.
It measures approximately 12 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. It is a heavy, well built projector and is the Iron Horse of the 8mm movie projectors of the 1960's. This projector works great and it has been serviced and ready for you to watch your old home movies.
The outside covers are in nearly pristine condition which is unusual given the number of years of service this machine has provided. Take a close look at the photos and I think you will agree this is a clean unit for its age. The bulb is good and everything works as it should.

Vintage Keystone 8mm Movie Projector Model 109
This is one of the greatest 8mm movie projectors of all time. It is a 8mm film projector for the older Standard 8mm films. It will not fit the more modern Super 8mm films. It is built like an Iron Horse and will probably last forever mechanically. It has every feature imaginable including:

It is made more like a commercial movie projector rather than a home movie projector. What a powerful machine this is. You won't be disappointed in this awesome unit. The electrical cord has been taped in a few spots but it is safe and ready for use.
This model is coming to be very collectible as they are such well-made machines. The case measures 17 inches tall by 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep. Everything on this machine is working as it should.

Kodak Brownie Model C 500 8mm Movie Projector
This is a great, vintage Kodak Brownie movie projector in nearly pristine condition. It is an 8mm electric projector and it is all working great and ready to show those old movies that your Dad took decades ago.
This Model C 500 projector is a classic and hard to find. It is the Best of the Best in the vintage Brownie Kodak 8mm projectors and is easy to use. It has a f/1.6 lens that can be focused so your movies are clear. It has a forward speed and still frame. It also has a reverse wind for winding back the film after viewing.
The projector light is working and if it should burn out you can buy a new one at the local camera store or on the Internet. It comes with an empty 5 inch take-up reel. I have extra 8mm empty movie reels for sale if you should need some. Email me for those details.
I have several of these projectors and the one you get may vary slightly in color plus the 5 inch reel may be a different color. They are all of the same quality though and you won't be disappointed.

Vintage Bell & Howell Lumina 1.2 - 8mm Movie Projector
This classic projector is for the regular 8mm movie film of the 50's & 60's. It will not play the newer and wider SUPER 8mm film of the 1970's. This rare model projector, called the Lumina 1.2, was probably the best of the best of the regular 8mm projectors in those days. It is quiet, easy to thread (self threading), good clear lens and bright light.
This projector has a variable speed control which is almost a necessity if you are transferring old movies to digital video DVD.
It also has reverse direction and still mode to look at a certain film clip. You can see all the controls and plate information in the photos. If your family has reels of 8mm movie film, this is the projector you need.
This machine is in great operating order. Everything is working as it should. The bulb is available at camera shops or on the internet should it burn out or you can email me and I will find you one.
The unique projector even has a modern self-retracting electrical cord, a light switch to change from NORMAL brightness for B & W movies to BRIGHT brightness for color movies. It also has a lamp outlet that you can plug in the room lamp so when the projector light is switched on, the room light goes OFF---and when the projector light is switch OFF, the room light goes ON.

Vintage Sears Super Automatic 8mm Movie Projector
This great machine is a classic to say the least. It is a very large projector and from an era when things were built like a brick. It is a 8mm film projector for the older Standard 8mm films. It will not fit the more modern Super 8mm films.
It is a variable speed projector which is great for transferring your movies to DVD. It has a forward, still and reverse selections. It has a special plug-in receptacle that you can plug a lamp into which will turn off when you turn on the projector and visa-versa. It also has a retractable cord.
If you are still looking for extra features, then you will enjoy the SLOW MOTION lever which will allow you to slow down the action or speed it up to normal action. With all those controls, you can do anything you need to get done for sure.
Sears made some excellent photography equipment in the 1960's and suspect this was one of those quality items. This model is an auto-threading model. It is a very heavy machine supporting its quality construction premise. The unit has a metal cover with a pushbutton that opens the projector when depressed. The cord is in great shape.

Vintage Keystone Model 100G 8mm Movie Projector
This is a Keystone Model 100G Regular 8mm movie projector made by the well-known Keystone Camera Company of Boston, Mass. This company made top-of-the-line camera and projector equipment for many years.
This projector will only play the older Regular 8mm movie film. It will not play the more modern Super 8mm movies from the 1970's. A Super 8mm projector or a Dual 8 projector is needed to play Super 8mm films.
This projector has been serviced and it is running properly. The light is bright. The film will self thread through the sprockets, but you have to attach the film manually to the take-up reel. There is a 7 inch take-up reel that comes with this projector and it is mounted under the projector for safe storage. Simply remove it and slip it on the take-up post (left post).
This machine also comes with a film splicing kit. See the photos for detail. The kit contains some 8mm splices also and if you should need more, I have them for sale in my store.
This projector is great for playing your Dad's old Regular 8mm home movies from the 1950's and early 60's. The case is metal as is most of the projector. It has a forward, reverse and a zoom lens. This particular machine is in excellent condition and appears to have been used very little.

Vintage Bell & Howell Mod 248 BA 8mm Movie Projector
This wonderful machine would be perfect to use for converting your old Standard 8mm movies to DVD with your video camera because it has a variable speed control which prevents the black bar syndrome. It also has a Frame knob for image control on the screen and the main switch has Lamp, Motor and Off.

Bell & Howell Super 8mm Mod 600ZR SOUND Movie Projector
This unit is the Model 600ZR FILMOSONIC Super 8mm movie projector. It plays the Super 8mm movies with Sound (those that have a sound track recorded). This projector has been reconditioned and is working perfectly.
Look at the photos carefully and you can see all the features of this deluxe machine. It even comes with a microphone and stand inside the front cover that you can plug in and record your own voice on the Super 8mm sound tapes. It has two speeds of 18 frames per second and 24 fps. It is a completely auto threading machine that is very simple to use.
There is a built in speaker for sound films or plug in an external speaker (see photos). It also comes with its own take-up reel.
This machine measures 10.5 inches tall by 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep. The operating instructions are glued inside the front cover.
You can purchase Super 8mm Sound films on the internet by searching for them through the Google search engine. You can watch old movies of the 3 Stooges, the Little Rascals series, all sorts of interesting movies are available.
