Nostalgic 1936 Keystone Mod K-8 Movie Camera This very old camera has been serviced and is in operating condition. It is a great old camera for a nostalgic display or for use as a movie prop.

I was able to locate a complete owners manual for this camera and it is included with this purchase. Reading this manual is worth the price of this item by itself. It is amazing! The manual was obviously owned by a George Hesser of Ada, Ohio as that is signed just inside the front cover of the booklet.

This 70 year old Regular 8mm movie camera was state of the art for its day. It has a windup mainspring to run the motor and the entire case is done in the old wrinkle finish black paint. There are all sorts of adjustments one can make to the camera---it is best to read the fascinating booklet to fully understand the complete functions of this wonderful item.

Click for more detail...
7169

1914 Kodak Autographic Jr Model 1A Folding Camera This camera is almost an antique and is in great condition.

The case is leather and the camera uses film #116 Autographic film. This old camera has all the features of the day. It is a wonderful item just to handle and experience.

The black case is a leatherette type material, and the metal case underneath is very well build as the camera has a heavy feel to it. The bellows of the fold-out lens is in acceptable condition as is the swivel view-finder mounted on the side of the lens. The swivel allows rotation of the camera 90 degrees for Landscape or Portrait views.

The 1A Autographic Kodak Jr. folding camera was typical of Kodak folding cameras of the time. The camera body is wooden. Folding front and removable back are metal while the external covering and bellows are leather. It used the Autographic film which permitted a message to be written on the film between frames. The spool was wound with a layer of carbon paper between the film and the thin red backing paper. After taking a photograph the user would open up the small door on the back of the camera (see photos) and using the provided stylus (metal pencil---included with this camera) they could inscribe a short note. Pressure of the stlus on the backing paper transferred the carbon to the backing paper. The user then held the camera back to the light for a moment and light passing through would image the message on the film.

Kodak certainly had an inventive moment with the creation of this camera. It is rare in good condition like this one is.

In the closed position, the camera measures 3.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches long and 1.5 inches deep.

1937 Kodak Junior Six-16 Series II Folding Camera This camera is almost an antique and is in great condition.

From 1934 to 1936, Kodak produced a camera with a gorgeous art-deco body called the Six-16 that, true to its name, used size 616 film. Vintage Kodak XL55 Super 8 Movie Camera Outfit Here is a classic from the 1970's. It is a battery operated Super 8 cartridge movie camera with a built-in wide angle/Telephoto lens complete with the carrying strap and the original box.

This camera is unique in that it was designed to rest on your forehead while taking movies for jiggle free performance. This camera comes complete with a NEW ROLL of Super 8 film still in the box. I have no idea if the film is still usable but this is certainly a rare find in an unopened box. There are also 4 new AA batteries with the camera outfit.

Everything is working on this camera as far as I can tell without using any actual film.

Vintage Classic Revere Model 40 8mm Movie Camera Here is a wonderful reminder of yesteryear. The Revere movie camera was 'state of the art' in its day (late '50's, early 1960's). It is labeled as the Revere Eight, Model 40, Magazine Cine. This is a mainspring windup camera with NO BATTERIES REQUIRED and it is still in perfect working order. Wind up the mainspring and flip the trigger on the right side of the unit and the camera operates with that wonderful old sound.

The motor trigger also has a frame-by-frame mode which is unusual and only seen on cameras of quality. It uses a film magazine that slips into the film compartment of the camera. There is also a speed adjustment dial near the trigger and a footage adjustment dial over the trigger. The camera is all metal and very heavy and well-built.

There is an amber colored filter install over the lens. What a great nostalgic treat this camera is.
