Vintage West German Colorful Cuckoo Clock
This is a very colorful cuckoo clock that is very well done with blending colors. This painted clock is a commercial clock and most likely hand painted. The movement has been serviced and it is in great condition. It is a REGULA brand movement which is a West German movement and one of the most reliable on the market.
The clock is a one day weight driven clock. The cuckoo comes out every hour on the hour and counts the hour with the CUCKOO sounds while the chime gong strikes the hour count in back of the clock. The cuckoo and chime sound once on the half hour.
There are no major defects on this clock whatsoever other than normal wear. It keeps accurate time, and all functions are working properly. The two small birds toward the bottom of the clock nod their bodies toward the small bird in the bird nest while the clock is sounding its cuckoo and ringing its chime gong. Quite an animated clock for sure.
The clock measures about 14 inches from the very top to the bottom of the pendulum and is 7.5 inches wide by 6 inches deep.

Vintage Black Forest Hand Carved Cuckoo Clock
This is an older clock but in pristine condition and appears to have hardly been used at all. The original sticker stating AN ORIGINAL BLACK FOREST HAND CARVED CUCKOO CLOCK is still attached to the clock. The clock has a one-day movement from the famous REGULA brass West German clock movement company. The clock is operating beautifully, keeping good time and chirping the cuckoo sound on the hour with the hour count. It also cuckoo's once on the half hour.
If you ever wanted a Black Forest hand carved cuckoo clock that is small in size and yet has all the features of a good basic cuckoo clock, you can have this one sent to your house at a very reasonable price.
The clock measures 14.5 inches to the bottom of the pendulum stick (9 inches from top of bird beak to bottom of clock case oak leaf), 6 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep.
