Standard GI Issue 1943 Army Signed Canteen and Cup This is the standard M1910 Army water canteen that slips inside a drinking cup and then the whole thing fits inside the canvas carry pouch.

The canteen is signed as belonging to Michael Stroman and the canteen is stamped on the bottom with the date 1943. There is also something scribed on the handle of the cup but I cannot make it out.

This canteen is definitely some nostalgia from the past and would make a great display item or a movie prop. It is indeed REAL and nothing reproduction about it.

The outside canvas covering also is signed by Michael Stroman.
