Standard GI Issue 1943 Army Signed Canteen and Cup
This is the standard M1910 Army water canteen that slips inside a drinking cup and then the whole thing fits inside the canvas carry pouch.
The canteen is signed as belonging to Michael Stroman and the canteen is stamped on the bottom with the date 1943. There is also something scribed on the handle of the cup but I cannot make it out.
This canteen is definitely some nostalgia from the past and would make a great display item or a movie prop. It is indeed REAL and nothing reproduction about it.
The outside canvas covering also is signed by Michael Stroman.

US Army Signal Corps Model TA-43/PT Field Phone
I am told that this model TA-43 Army field phone is indeed a WW II telephone and was only made for a short time and replaced by the TA-312 model. This phone was designed to be hooked/attached to a rolled out land line and the with the batteries installed one could crank the phone and reach the party with the radio command on the other end.
This particular phone shows that is was reconditioned by AFSWP Signal Maintenance Shop on August 29, 1958. It appears to be in excellent condition and probably is a working field telephone but there is no way that I can try it out of course as there is no one to call. The phone comes complete with its original canvas carry bag and strap.
Here is a piece of military history that is in wonderful shape and would make a great military display or a movie prop.
