1960's Lane Cedar Jewelry Box - Eugene Some ladies will remember these Lane cedar Mini-chests which were given upon graduating from High School in the 1960's. They were given as complimentary gifts of the local furniture or dry goods store. Most are signed with the name and town of the store while some are not.

This particular Lane mini chest was given by M JACOBS FINE FURNITURE, EUGENE & BEND OREGON. It is in great condition and still smells like the cedar wood it is made from.

Lane Cedar Chests were renowned for their quality of workmanship and this mini chest follows the same reputation. The locking key is not included with this item but it is a simple lock that will make it fairly easy to find a new key. The box presently is not locked and opens/closes just fine.

This chest is a lighter color than most which makes it really unusual.

This particular Lane mini chest was given by J-MACS HOME FURNISHINGS, CLUTE, TEXAS. It is in good condition with a few dings on the bottom floor inside and a few spots on the cover right front corner as shown in the photo. The chest still smells like the cedar wood it is made from.
