This model named the Country Club was announced in August 1937. This clock has a manual "spin start" knob on the back of the clock and all is working as it should. The old Westclox catalog lists this clock as "note the novel window style alarm indicator and the manual starting electric movement". The small dot in the upper part of the dial is the alarm time setting window---really unique and the numbers are really hidden there---nice touch to this clock.
The clock is sort of a maroon/dark brown color. The dial is in great shape, the hands are black and the second hand is candy apple red. There is an alarm on/off lever in the back of the clock. The electrical cord is in very good condition.
This clock measures 4.75 inches tall by 5 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. |
