Here is a rare clock from the late 1950's as it was manufactured as a joint effort between two major clock manufacturers of the era. The Sessions Clock Company of Forrestville, Connecticut teamed up with the United Clock Company of Brooklyn, New York and made a few of the most classic clocks of that century with this one being Model #207. While there were later many gold scale clocks made by United themselves, this particular clock is signed SESSIONS-UNITED right on the dial where the United clocks just have the UNITED signature on the dial.
The clock sets on a wood base and the rest is brass plated. The brass is in good condition with only a few tarnish spots and wear marks here and there. On top of the clock and scales is an eagle with wings spread out.
Help yourself to this unique and rare collectors clock. It is in great working condition and keeps proper time. It measures 20.5 inches tall by 20 inches wide and the base is around 8.5 inches across. |
