This clock was made by the O.B. McClintok Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. They were one of the major companies making all those large 4-sided bank clocks that hung in the small town streets of yesteryear. I would guess this clock was made in the early 1950's or late 40's from its deco look of the numbers on the beautiful dial.
The wood is maple stained and finished. It is in excellent condition with no major scratches or dings that I can find. The hands and feet are brass and the second hand is candy apple red.
The clock is in excellent working condition and the time can be set from the knob on the back of the clock. The cord appears to be original and in great condition with its white pearl plug on the end of the cord which was very typical for that period. I would suspect this item has been in a box most of its life as there don't appear to be the normal wear marks for a clock this age.
This quality clock measures 6 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep. |
