You won't see too many of these left around the country. It is a Sears Roebuck & Company Mushroom style bird feeder that was part of the famous pottery collection of mushroom articles sold by Sears in the late 70's. They sold other pieces of the collection such as cannister sets and a clock. I have sold several of the clocks but this is the only bird feeder I have ever seen.
There are no chips or cracks on the item that I can find. It is in excellent condition and comes complete with a brass chain and hook.
This Mushroom Bird Feeder measures about 7.5 inches tall by nearly 4.5 inches around at the mushroom cap. Help yourself to this wonderfully rare piece from the past. It is signed on the bottom as being the authentic article. |
