Condition: Used & Operational Size: See Description Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: New Haven Clock Co. The beautiful old clock is from the late 1800's. It has an authentic New Haven Clock Company brass clock movement and it is signed as such on the movement itself.
The brass movement has been checked and serviced and the clock is running perfectly and keeping good time. This is a chiming/striking clock that counts the hour every hour at the top of the hour. It also strikes the half hour with one strike.

The winding key comes with the clock and when the mainsprings are fully wound, the clock will run for approximately 8 days. These clocks were always wound on the same day of the week--usually on Sundays.
The clock case is in great condition with the normal wear for this many years of age. There are no broken pieces that I can find.
The front door has some reverse artwork in gold. It is a wonderful pattern that enhances the appearance of the clock. The pendulum also appears to be original with the clock--very ornate and beautiful.
This clock measures 22 inches tall by 14 inches wide and 6 inches deep at the base.
