This great machine has a metal plate that says: 115 V. AC 60 Cycle Only 500 W Max - Serial NO. AN-47969, 5 amps, Chicago 45, ILL, U.S.A. Projector Model 254 R Bell & Howell. It has the Framer lever and a switch that has Lamp, Motor and Off. It works great and it has a new electrical cord installed. A metal take-up reel comes with the projector. The unit is compact and has the metal cover with a pushbutton that opens the projector when depressed. There is a switch control for Forward and Reverse. It has the brown bake-lite handle.
It measures approximately 12 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. It is a heavy, well built projector and is the Iron Horse of the 8mm movie projectors of the 1960's. This projector works great and it has been serviced and ready for you to watch your old home movies.
The outside cover has a couple scratches and bruises but nothing to affect the operation of this machine. Take a close look at the photos and I think you will agree this is a clean unit for its age. The bulb is good and everything works as it should. |
