If you are a femalie and graduated from High School in the 1960's, you will remember these fun Lane Mini Cedar Chest. Every girl was given one compliments of the local furniture or dry goods store.
This particular Lane mini chest was given by OLD VOLO COUNTRY COMPLEX in VOLO, ILLINOIS. It is in great condition and still smells like the cedar wood it is made from.
Lane Cedar Chests were renowned for their quality of workmanship and this mini chest follows the same reputation. There is a scuff mark on the front part of the lid near the key hole. The locking key is not included with this item but it is a simple lock that will make it fairly easy to find a new key. The box presently is not locked and opens/closes just fine. |
