This beautiful clock sounds the call of all the birds listed on the dial at the top of the hour--one bird each hour. Each hour is different according to the bird shown. The calls last about 15 seconds and the sound is very realistic.
This particular clock has very clear bird sounds--not garbled at all. It is also unusual with the Oak circular frame around the clock dial. It is real finished Oak wood and beautifully done.
The sounds are turned off at night via an electronic sensor eye built into the face of the clock. The bird call electronics require 2 AA batteries and the clock requires one AA battery. The sounds can be stopped by removing the 2 batteries if desired.
My camera picked up a fingerprint on the clock glass around the 10 O'Clock position. There is no damage to the glass at all.
