Here is a wonderful reminder of yesteryear. The DeJur movie camera was state-of-the-art in its day (late '50's, early 1960's). It is labeled as the DeJur Spectator Turret, Serial #41064. The camera measures 5.5 inches tall by 5.0 inches deep and 2.5 inches wide. Yes, this was a windup camera with NO BATTERIES REQUIRED and it is still in perfect working order. Wind up the mainspring and push the button on the front of the unit and the camera operates with that wonderful old sound.
It has several speed options and has a telescoping viewfinder/lens that is adjustable on top of the camera. The camera has only one lens and it is a high quality lens from Keystone called the Elgeet 1/2 inch. There is full f-stop control adjustments on the lens plus distance control.
The camera is all metal and very heavy and well-built. It comes complete with its original box.
