AC 60 Cycle Only 500 W Max - Serial NO. H-66299, 5 amps, Chicago 45, ILL, U.S.A. Projector Model 253A Bell & Howell. It has the Framer lever and a switch that has Lamp, Motor and Off. It works great. A metal take up movie reel comes with the projector.
The unit is compact and has the metal lid with a push-button that opens the projector when depressed.

The forward and rewind functions are very manual and accomplished by hooking up or unhooking the spring drive belts from the front or rear pulleys as shown in the photos. This reduces the number of moving parts inside the machine and lowered the cost. The cord is in good condition and the machine has the brown bake-lite handle.
It measures approximately 12 inches tall by 8.5 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. It is a heavy, well built projector and is another of the Iron Horses of the 8mm movie projectors of the 1950's. This projector works great and it has been serviced and ready for you to watch your old home movies.
