Original 1903 Sears, Roebuck & Co. Bicycle Catalog. 9" x 6". 48 pages. First 7 pages are text with sales information, next 2 are freight and express rates. Page 10 begins pictures of bicycles on the left page side and descriptions and prices on the right page side. First is the Gents' and Ladies "Newton" Bicycle; followed by, Gents' "Kenwood"; Ladies' "Kenwood"; Gents' "Elgin King"; Ladies' "Elgin Queen"; Gents' "Napoleon"; Ladies' "Josephine"; 2 pages with Juvenile Bicycles, Boys' Velocipedes and Tricycles; pages 25 through 39 have parts and accessories for bicycles as tires, lights, bells, camera carrier, mounting for railroad and a liquid pistol that could be filled with ammonia to defend against dogs, hoodlums and burglars. Pages 40 through 47 are testimonials on the different bikes. Last page lists places in foreign countries to buy the bicycles. Cover has some age discoloration and a split at the spine going up from the bottom to the first staple. Inside is nice.
