| This Beautiful Example of Folk Tramp Art is 14" tall, 10 1/4" deep, has one drawer on each side at the bottom of the doll house. Keyhole at the top, we do not have the key. When you lift the top up, it reveals one section, and then you can lift up the next floor, which reveals another section. Has scratched in or burned in designs, that look like shingles, brick work and stone work. Curtains in windows and doors are painted. It would probably have been used as a jewelry box or glove and scarf box, or as a combination of all three. It is a great combination of Tramp Art and Pyrography. The detailing on it is just superb. I can't imagine the many hours it must have taken to make. It is an outstanding piece of Tramp Art. |
