This very old lamp shade was made in the 1800's. Hand-painted with violets of the time. A picture depects a church steeple, a house in the background with a stream in the foreground. The picture is framed with a rustic twig form. The otherside of the shade is painted with violets. The shade is 14 3/4" in diameter at the largest point.
