Engraved and Decorated Pieces. Teapots, beverage servers, custards, casseroles, baking dishes.

Engraved pieces date starting from 1918. First to appear were ovenware. The most prolific were floral and fern design. Some were more geometric but I run accross few of these. Ovenware casseroles were available round, oval and square in different sizes. Lids had either a beautiful knobbed handle in the center or a utility lid style with side handles. Many pieces were offered with a clear base and decorated lid. Carriers were available (manufactured by others) in many styles and metals for the ovenware pieces.

Open ovenware was offered in load pans, pie plates, custards, ramekins, and rectangular and square baking dishes.

Engraved pieces peaked in the 1930's and were discountinued by the 1940's.

Teapots and beverage servers were highly decorative. The earliest teapots date to 1922 and were all glass. Three different shapes were available. Round, squat, and a tall shape. Most I come accross are squat. Some were totally clear or with just the lid engraved. The tall type was discontinued by the mid 1920's so is extremely rare. Metalware manufacturers utilized Pyrex pieces and added their own lids, handles, and decorations to the glass. By the 1940's teapots and beverage servers were all but extinct.
