SA001

Vintage Hotpoint Toaster circa 1920's Vintage Nickel-plated Hotpoint Brand Toaster with original cloth cord. "De Luxe" Catalog No. 115T17, Manufactured by Edison Electric Appliance circa 1923 to late 1920's. Has not been refusbished. In "as found" condition which I feel is very good, expecially considering it's age. I have never seen another Nickel-plated toaster. I did locate a blurb on line about the toaster which I will include.

Vintage Hotpoint Toaster Circa 1920's - Like New Hotpoint Toaster Catalog No. 119T17. Chrome-plated flip down doors toaster. Mfg Edison - General Electric Appliance Co. circa mid to late1920's - early 1930's. Absolutely wonderful condition. The chrome is shiny and bright. No rust or tarnish. A few minor scratches from storage for the last 80 plus years. The original cloth cord is in excellent condition. Minor rusting/pitting on underside of toaster. The toaster looks like it was never used - a couple of times maybe.

SA016

Vintage Toastmaster Model 1A4 Automatic Pop-Up Toaster Vintage Toastmaster Model 1A4 Toaster. Beautifully styled chromed single slice toaster. Light/dark control knob . Brown Bakelite (?) knobs. Front knob appears to be a replacement, but not sure, it is different than the back (no function) knob. The clockwork timer would tick loudly as the front lever slowly rises until the toast "pops-up". Unfortunately the mechanism is not currently operational. If you want a working unit, I can recommend a refurbisher. Original cloth cord. Mfg Waters-Genter of Minneapolis, MN. Circa 1934 for this S/N 794208 (between Aug 1934 & Aug 1935). Overall very nice condition. I mildly surfaced cleaned to determine overall condition. There is some light scratching and several pit/rust spots, the worst of which I tried to show. I hope to look this good when I'm almost 75 years old

SAT002

Vintage Sumbeam T-9 Automatic Pop-Up Toaster Sunbeam Model T-9 Toaster. Beautiful art deco styling, first displayed at the 1939 World's Fair. Chromed unit with black Bakelite (?) handles and trim. Unique incised design with a faceted glass jewel that lights up on the front when the coils heat. When the toaster is upside down, the incising appears as a stylistic T9. Controls for Light/Dark, "Keeps Toast Warm" or "Pops Toast Up". Overall very nice condition with minimal scratching. One piece of the Bakelite base/leg is broken. Someone (previous owner ?) put their name on the bottom on black marker. I have only mildly polished to determine condition. Original rubber or plastic coated wire cord. I suspect circa is late 1940's to early 1950's because of cord. (Unless of course the cord has been replaced). Operational but I would use with caution due to age or have refurbished.

SAT002A

Vintage Sunbeam T-9 Automatic Pop-Up Toaster Sunbeam Model T-9 Toaster. Beautiful art deco styling, first displayed at the 1939 World's Fair. Chromed unit with black Bakelite handles and trim. Unique incised design with a faceted glass jewel that lights up on the front when the coils heat. Upside down the incising appears futuristically as T9. Controls for Light/Dark, "Keeps Toast Warm" or "Pops Toast Up". Overall wonderful condition with very minimal scratching. No damage to Bakelite trim or knobs. I have only mildly polished to determine condition. Original cloth cord. I don't know if the unit is operational or not. When I plugged it in it sparked so I unplugged it before determining if the mechanism works. Beautiful as a display piece. I would recommend refurbishing if you want to use. Circa 1940.

SAT003

Vintage Toast-O-Lator Model J Toaster Chromed unit with brown Bakelite base and knobs and cloth cord. Overall wonderfully remarkable condition. Very minimal scratching and pitting on chrome. Could not get any to show well in the photos. There are no chips or cracks on the Bakelite. There is no fraying on the cord. The toaster is fully operational. The conveyor belt like (teeth) mechanism is fully functional. It's fantastic to watch the toast pass through from one end to the other through the glass window, called a Wind-O-Spy. Circa late 1940's - I'm guessing based on the cloth cord and the fact that the factory was converted to military production during WWII
