Royal Rochester - Robeson Rochester Model 12840. Chromed body with ceramic cream colored lid decorated with bright red poppy flowers with green stems and leaves. Wood handles have seen better days. The cream colored paint is partially missing and pealing. The good news on the handles is that they are screwed in and could be easily taken off, sanded, and repainted. Overall the waffle iron is in very good condition with a slight bid of pitting or staining mostly where it can't be seen. Late 1920's to early 1930's styling. Comes with a cord which I believe is a replacement. Original probably would have been cloth. Has not been cleaned or rewired. Is in "as found" condition which I feel is very good, especially considering it's age. The ceramic lid is in excellent condition.
