| Front knob appears to be a replacement, but not sure, it is different than the back (no function) knob. The clockwork timer would tick loudly as the front lever slowly rises until the toast "pops-up". Unfortunately the mechanism is not currently operational. If you want a working unit, I can recommend a refurbisher. Original cloth cord. Mfg Waters-Genter of Minneapolis, MN. Circa 1934 for this S/N 794208 (between Aug 1934 & Aug 1935). Overall very nice condition. I mildly surfaced cleaned to determine overall condition. There is some light scratching and several pit/rust spots, the worst of which I tried to show. I hope to look this good when I'm almost 75 years old |
