Circa: Ca 1930's Manufacturer: Porcelier Mfg. Co., Greensburg, PA
Porcelier Basket Weave Pattern with Wildflowers Sandwich Grill. Catalog No. 5004. Very rare. Overall grill is approximately 7-1/2" x 12" x 4-1/2" High. Adjustable metal grill plates have a usable surface of approximately 5" x 9". Overall the grill is in very nice condition. There are two small chips in the porcelain (vitreous china) on the right side just under the metal plate. One is approx. 1/2" x 1/2" and the other is 3/8" x 3/8". They are really not that noticeable - especially for display purposes. There are no other chips, cracks, repairs, or hairlines visible. There is some visible loss of the silver trim on the base. It looks as if someone cleaned the grill plates with possibly a metal sander (?) like you would old cast iron. Includes a cloth cord. The grill still shows very nice and would be a wonderful addition to any collection.
** I also have a toaster listed **
*** Shipping charges will be calculated at time of shipment. Shipping weight will be 20-25#'s boxed weight. The grill will be double boxed. Insurance will be an issue *** |
