Lovely old German sewing or handkerchief basket. 6" square by 4" tall.Has liner. The top liner (pink) is in reasonable condition for it's age. The bottom liner is mostly shredded. Edging around liner is in good shape. Label on bottom says Made in Germany. Looks like 1930's. Top part of front hasp is there, but not bottom. There are rings on the sides, I am not sure of their purpose. Bottom of basket is wood.Most of the basket appears to be made of a woven raffia type material. This is a nice piece.
