| This is a lovely vintage hand embroidered dresser scarf with a hand crocheted edging. This is worked on ecru linen with silk type thread. Crocheted edging is ecru. Looks like 40's or 50's type work. This item must be washed in cool water with woolite or other type substance. It is clean now. There were four of this same type of work in a collection of linens that I bought. One had been washed incorrectly and it had run. This item has been washed and is okay. There is an area near one of the flower baskets that has some small spots. These are not easily noticed, but they are there. There are a few other flecks on the scarf. The flower basket embroidery is lovely. This would really show off a nice piece of furniture. Some of the thread ends show on the good side, but they don't seem too much out of place. They blend in.
