| Vintage pair of cast iron book ends. About 5 in. wide and 4 1/2 in. tall. These have a lot of detail. The center is framed similar to a fireplace. Columns on the outside, then vinelike panels around the center picture. Center picture appears to be a woman rocking a baby. I thought at first it was someone sitting at a desk, but I am not sure. In the background there is a pole with a bird on it and the bird has something hanging from it's beak. I think this is a lantern or lamp. There is no paint on these. There are no marks except for a zero at the bottom center back. I have dealt with lots of real cast iron toys andI think these are early. They could use a good cleaning.
