This set of dinner plates is a collection of 3 plates measuring 9 inches across. They were produced by Edwin Knowles in November of 1946. The pattern is known as Rose #4116. Each carries the back stamp of Edwin Knowles with the date produced.
The hand painted floral pattern is intact and very bright yet on all three pieces and is under glaze with an ivory white background. The rims are trimmed in gold that have a few areas where it has rubbed off.
