Vintage Breast-O-Chicken Tuna, "The Sea Chest"
This is really neat old advertising piece, it dates to the late 1940's to the 1950's, I am not really sure if this was a promotional item or something that contained tuna, it looks like there were originally cans of tuna in it as there are marks from the edges of the cans inside, the bottom of the box is marked with Breast-O-Chicken Tuna, Inc, Sand Diego, California. It is made of cardboard, measures 7 1/2" by just over 11 1/2" by 3 1/2", it is in good condition, there are some marks on the inside from the cans, outer edges show some wear along the edges. It comes from a smoke free home and would be a teriffic addition to your collection!

Vintage Legend Mural Yaqui Indians First National Bank Phoenix AZ
Vintage Advertising Legend of the Mural, Yaqui Indian Story Teller Dish or Plate from the First National Bank of Phoenix, Arizona from the mural of well known artist Jay Datus. This is a very interesting piece, it is a smoked glass dish with a full color picture of "The Yaqui Legend Story Teller", would estimate it to be from the 1960's or 1970's.
The back has the full details of the mural, "Legend of the Mural...The Yaqui Indian Story Teller, in his white serape and typical Mexican clothes, is standing in the center. The old Navajo woman sitting with a blanket about her shoulders, and her little grandchild, are listening to his tales. The young Navajo man seated to the left is also listening to the story teller. A little lamb, as might be expected to be found with the Navajos, is also shown. Raising sheep is one of their principle occupations. The woman on the extreme left is of the Pueblos and carries a melon beneath her arm. She wears a turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. The the Indian, Jewelry is wealth, and they like to wear all they can. At the far right an Apache Brave is seen standing with a rifle in his hands. His confidence is in his weapon.
