Vintage Holiday Time Animated Motionette Victorian Lady Caroler Vintage Holiday Time Animated Motionette Victorian Lady Caroler in the Original Box. This motionette was produced in 1990 by Holiday Time Telco, she is dressed in a dark green dress and a red hat with a white lace trim. She holds a gold candle, both her arms move and her head turns when she is turned on.

She is about 24 inches tall, is in excellent, clean condition, still has her paperwork tag still attached and comes in her original box, box is in good condition with signs of use and shelf wear from being stored.

Vintage Annalee Dolls Baker Santa Claus 1993 Original Tag 5045 Vintage Annalee Dolls Baker Santa Claus with his Original Tags from 1993, style number 5045. This is a super cute piece! The Annalee Doll Company has an interesting history. The creator of Annalee Dolls was Barbara Annalee Davis. Ms Davis first started creating dolls in the 1930's, in 1941 she met her husband and they opened Thorndike's Eggs and Auto Parts. In 1950 the egg and auto part business failed and Ms Davis started to make dolls again, the company was a success and in 1955 the company was incorporated into Annalee Dolls. The company continued under Ms Davis until 1992 when she gave her two sons equal shares of the company. Her sons continued to run the company until the later part of the 1990s, when the market for collectibles began to fall, many companies began to outsource their operations. Annalee was one of these companies, by 2001 all Annalee dolls were outsourced. In 2002 Ms Davis passed away and in 2008, after a string of lawsuits between the two sons of Annalee Thorndike over ownership of the company, Annalee Dolls was acquired by David Pelletier, Bob Watson, and the Imagine Company of Hong Kong.

This Baker Santa Claus is about 8 inches tall, he is dressed in red with a white chef's apron and hat, green oven mitts and he holds a pie trimmed with holly sprigs. He has his original seam tag dated 1993 and his original paper tag attached. Vintage Josef Originals Santa Claus Mouse Christmas Mice Figurines Hard to find! Vintage Josef Santa Claus Mouse Christmas Mice Figurines from the 1960's. Josef Originals began in 1942, created by Muriel Joseph, of California, began making and selling lucite jewelry under the name of "Muriel of California". World War II caused the price of lucite to be unaffordable, so Muriel then converted her skills to making ceramic figurines. In 1945, working out of their basement and garage, Muriel her and fiance Tom began their own pottery business. Their printer had misspelled the name from Joseph to Josef on their label. They had no time to fix the error, so the name Josef Originals became the name of the new company.

In the early 50's Muriel discovered that cheap reproductions of her earlier pieces were being made in Japan. Many people took the Japan copies as Josef Originals, and Muriel fought back by making some very beautiful detailed pieces. Her hope was that the new pieces would not be so easy to copy. However the newer, more expensive pieces, along with the Japan reproductions really hurt their business.

In 1954 Muriel & Tom met Mr. Good, he convinced them that if they made their figurines in Japan, it would greatly reduce their expenses. They continued to make Josef Originals in California, until 1960 when they opened a factory in Japan, and began operations by the name of "George Good Corporation" incorporating the name of their new partner and Muriel's new married name (Muriel Joseph George). Eventually production was moved to Korea. In 1981 Muriel retired, however, she continued to create new Josef Original designs until 1985. George Good bought the company in 1982, and sold it in 1985 to Southland Corporation. The Josef Original name now belongs to Applause, Inc. Applause has been making copies of earlier pieces and are signed "Josef Originals by Applause or by Dakin".

This set of mice Santa Claus have the early black oval stickers, each mouse wears a red and white Santa outfit with a holly leaf on the cap and a gold jingle bell on the end of the cap, One is 2 3/4 inches tall and the other is 2 1/2 inches tall, both have the Josef Label on the bottom, both are in excellent condition, no chips.
