Vintage Italy Hand Painted Ceramic Medieval Harvest Plaque LMA Unique Vintage Italy Hand Painted Ceramic Medieval Spring Planting Plaque signed by LMA. This is a very nice piece, I have had it for many years and tried to research the artist without any luck. It depicts a peasants in Medieval times in the field planting the crops, in the background is a castle. It is hand painted, colors convey an early spring day as the peasants plant the crops. It is signed LMA in the lower left corner, front has a glazed finish, back is unglazed, has holes along the top for a cord to be inserted so it can be hung. It is extremely heavy, about five pounds and is almost 12 inches by 12 inches, almost an inch thick at the thickest part. A very unique piece, beautiful addition to a collection or as decorative piece. Please see my other listings for additional plaques in this series.
