This is such a cute piece, the pattern looks a lot like the Moss Rose pattern, perfect for rings, earrings or any other jewelry. It is very nicely made, the box is china with a gold tone edge, the music plays when you lift in the lid and stops when you close it. It is 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" and about 2 1/2" deep, the windup key is marked Japan and I assume that is where the dish was made as I do not see any other markings. It is in excellent condition and would be a lovely addition to your dresser top or collection!
