Victorian Ornate Floral German Silver Ladies Dresser Set Brush This is a beautiful piece! This brush dates to the late 1800's to the early 1900's, was probably part of a dresser brush set, it has an ornate floral rose pattern on the back of the brush, end of the handle has two rosebuds with a scroll accent, brush side has this accent at the base along with a cluster underneath the edge of the brush.
The brush is mounted on a wood back and the bristles are intact. It is 8 1/2" long and just over 3" across at the widest point, it is marked on the side with German Silver.
It is in overall lovely condition, does have a couple of dings on the brush back, as can be seen in the picture, also a few little dings along the side, all consistent with age. The silver has not been cleaned, has a lovely old patina to it, it comes from a smoke free home and would be a lovely addition to your collection!
