Kemple Milk Glass Beaded Jewel Lace Dewdrop Vase Vintage Kemple Milk Glass Beaded Jewel or Lace and Dewdrop Vase. This pattern was first named Beaded Jewel and created in the 1880's by George Duncan Glass, at that time it was made in crystal only. In 1902 when Duncan went out of business, the molds were sold to Co Operative Glass Co, who made this pattern and called it their 1902 Line in milk Glass until 1929. The molds were then purchased by Phoenix Glass Co, they made the pattern in milk glass and painted the pieces for several years and in 1946 sold the molds to John Kemple. The Kemple Glass company used these molds to reproduce the old milk glass, they ceased production in 1970 when Mr Kemple passed away. This vase is just over 4 3/4 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches across, it is in good condition, has a chip on one of the rounded base points, not noticeable unless you look for it.
