Very Cute, Vintage 1950's Wooden Boy Puppet. This puppet is very nicely made, I think it is probably German in origin. Based on the age of other pieces that when it was originally purchased it. estimate the age on it to be around the 1940's to 1950's. The head is wood, as is the body, the features are hand painted, nose is metal and there is a bit of wear to the paint. It is about 9 1/4 inches tall, overall good condition, does show age to the clothing, there is one string that attaches to the head that is missing and would be an easy repair. It would be a terrific addition to your collection! |
