Avon 1876 Cape Cod Ruby Red Wine Decanter MIB, Mint in Box. This pattern is reminiscent of the early American pressed glass called Sandwich Glass. It features lacy, intricate designs, fine background stippling and exquisite brilliance which reflected the superb craftsmanship of its makers. The pattern name commemorates the spirit of the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial, the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and Cape Cod, the area where Sandwich glass originated, Avon produced this piece in 1991. These wine decanter has never been used, it still has the bubble bath in it and comes with a rubber stopper which is sealed in a plastic bag, it is 9 3/4 inches tall, it comes in the original box, box is in good condition with slight shelf wear.
