Corning Ware Spice of Life 5 Quart Liter Covered Casserole Dutch Oven. This piece is one of the harder to find in the popular Corning Ware Spice of Life pattern, this pattern was produced from 1972 to 1987. It is made of Pyroceram, Pyroceram was invented in the late 1950's and is made to withstand both heat and cold. Several years ago the Corning Ware company was sold, the few pieces of Corning Ware that are still made are not made of pyroceram.
As with all the vintage Corning Ware we sell this piece is made of the original pyroceram. It is 10 1/4 inches by 10 1/4 inches (excluding the handles) and 4 inches deep. It is in excellent condition, no chips, marked with Corning on the bottom and would be an excellent addition to your set!
