I am pleased to offer to you this beautiful Antique Victorian Porcelain China Floral Covered Soap Dish. This piece dates the mid to late 1800's and has a lovely pattern of blue, yellow and reddish orange flowers with a gold trim on the lid and top of the base. It is 4 3/4 inches long by 3 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches to the top of the lid knob. The base is free of chips, the lid has four chips, these are mainly on the underneath side of the lid and barely noticeable when the lid is on the base, has some wear to the gold trim on the lid, base is intact, also originally had gold around the knob which has worn off with time. It is not marked as to where or who made it but appears to be of German origin. These pieces are seldom seen and would be a wonderful addition for an antique washstand!
