Vintage Corning Ware Beige Shadow Iris 3 Liter Dutch Oven Casserole Glass & Plastic Lids Glass Cookware, Go Green! Go Green with Corning Ware, you can bake, serve and store leftovers all in one dish, then reheat leftovers in the same dish! This pattern was made by Corning Ware in 1986, it features an iris pattern on a beige background and is made of pyroceram. Pyroceram was invented in the late 1950's and is a special mixture of glass and crystalline ceramic that Corning Ware holds the patent on, it is made to withstand both heat and cold. Several years ago the Corning Ware company was sold, the few pieces of Corning Ware that is still made are not made of pyroceram.
This piece is made of the original pyroceram, this dutch oven casserole is a hard to find piece, it holds 3 liters, is 8 1/5 inches across by 10 inches including the handles and 4 inches deep. It comes with both the glass lid and the plastic lid. All three pieces are in excellent gently used condition, no chips, clean and ready to use, hot plate rack is also in excellent condition. Due to the rarity of this piece it is not available on the replacement site. It would be a wonderful addition to your set! Please see our other listings for additional pieces in this pattern! |
