Vintage Stylebuilt Gold Filgree Glass Floral Perfume Bottles. Stylebuilt was established in New York in 1940 and specialized in the manufacture of vanity accessories in the 1960s. Most items are of a gold tone or silver tone alloy metal. The company is still in business today and operates under the name of Stylebuilt Accessories Inc. Most Stylebuilt pieces are 24K Gold Plated and the original paper tags said that they were guaranteed not to tarnish. This is a fabulous set of vintage Stylebuilt Gold and Glass Perfume Bottles. The estimated age of this set is from the 1940's to the 1960's. These perfumes have a pattern of ribbons and flowers, intricate in every detail, fantastic detail throughout the whole bottle. The sides are an open filigree, centers have beige beveled glass with the glass perfume bottle encased inside a metal filigree center. The gold has a darker finish to it in the creases giving it a patina type look instead of a shinny finish. The stoppers have a metal handle with glass daubers, the perfume bottle insert is removable by unscrewing it. They are 8 3/4 inches tall, body is 2 3/4 inches tall by 4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches deep. They are in excellent condition, very heavy in weight as they are quality piece. This is a matching set, most often only one perfume is found. A beautiful, quality piece for your collection or to display on your dresser.
