Click for more detail...

1940s Philco-Famous The World Over-Electric Wall Clock This is a vintage Philco advertising clock, circa late 1940s. The words below the PHILCO are "Famous For Quality The World Over". This clock measures about 16" diameter to the very outer edges. The clock face area is about 13" diameter and it has really good color for its age. The cover is a plastic and it does have some scratches, not bad. There are no cracks or chips. The clock face does have some wear which I'm not exactly sure how to describe. I'm not sure if this is a cardboard or a lithograph type part, but there are areas that have wear, kind of like when a plastic film is over something and in an area it bubbles up to separate. Its not bubbled, but I'm trying to describe the wear the best I can. In other words, its not mint, but in nice condition for its age. I plugged it in and it does run. It does have a place for light bulbs in the back, but none are there and there are instructions on the back as how to put light bulbs in. There are 2 clips that hold the plastic cover on the frame. The back side is mostly plastic, but the very back piece is metal and this is wear the label is that reads, "Caution use 25 watt lamps only -- To re-Lamp or re-set clock remove this cover -- Neon Products, Inc., Lima, Ohio". There are 2 "S" hooks present on the back as well, probably for additional support when hanging. The clock hands are a red metal, and the one has a moon shape to the one end.

Click for more detail...

Fuller Brush Salesman Brass door pull This is the Fuller Brush Salesman metal door hardware or something to that affect. It measures about 8" long and about 2-3/4" at its widest point. It is made of a metal -- possibly brass -- as it does have some of that blueish-greenish stuff on the inside of his hat and his feet (all on the backside). I don't find any maker marks and I'm not sure what its original use was, perhaps a door pull.
