Wedgewood Mortar and Pestle
This is a stoneware and wood mortar and pestle made by Wedgewood, perhaps from 1900-1940.
This is a very small size mortar, measuring only 2.25 inches in diameter by 1.5 inches tall. The base does have an impressed mark and it might be 85, but I can only make out the 5. Wedgewood is an impressed mark on the pestle with a deep impressed number or letter, but I can't be definitive, as it is deeply impressed and very small. The pestle is 5.75 inches in length. I find no damages, just great patina from use.
Manufacturer: Wedgewood
