Seven Seas - The Game of Trade 1963
This is an old board game from the 1963 era which is called Seven seas, The Game of Trade, New Edition, #235, manufactured by Cadaco-Ellis, Inc., Chicago, Illinois, copyrighted 1963.
Advertising on the box states Venturesome Traders Compete for Profits and Buy and Sell Cargo on the Seven Seas.
The game consists of a hinged box which opens up to the board with a world map. Red pegs are placed in the 20 ports where cargo is for sale (all are present).
Cargo Manifests are numbered 1-20 and all are present.
Dice are thrown in turn (both are present).
The money cards are distributed to each player at $5,000 each player. The money cards include 10-$500; 7-$1,000; 10-$5,000; and 8-$10,000. I am assuming that there are 3-$1,000 cards and 2-$10,000 cards missing since there are 10 of everything else.
The game is played with 2-3-4 players and there are 4 ships present.
The game box/board has loose edges with some wear, which I would expect, but the playing pieces are in really nice condition.
Manufacturer: Cadaco-Ellis Inc., Chicago, Illinois
