Hand Painted Nippon Cup and Saucer
This is a lovely footed cup and saucer, marked Hand Painted Nippon in green ink with the leaf. This is made of a fine porcelain/china, with gold gilding and a flow blue colored edge. The background is white and the pattern is mostly a beautiful pink rose, with a ribbon of green.
The plate measures about 5.25" diameter with a ruffled style edge. The cup stand on 3 feet with a opening diameter of 3.25".
I find no damages to either piece.

Made in Japan Plates Set of 4
This is a set of 4 Made in Japan plates with a very orange edge trim and the back is ink stamped in that same color. These measure about 7.25" diameter and are of a heavier porcelain material. The pattern is similar to a stencil, with the handpainting just being areas such as the pink on the trees and the orange on the lanterns, as well as the tops of the kimonos.
The only damage I will mention is what I believe to be firing flaws. One plate has right in the center of the plate on the front a flaw/hole, which is really masked by the design well and the other has an area on the back, inside the ring where the plate actually would touch a surface and area that wasn't painted or glazed over when fired. These are minor and I try to describe as accurately as possible for you.
