1946 Santa Claus
This is a construction paper Santa Claus, marked on the back that it belonged to Jimmie Pierce 1946. He was at least in later life from Minburn, Iowa, and this came from his estate.
Santa is jointed with paper fasteners and his face and other features are drawn with pencil. His belt and boots are colored a dark black. Santa's cotton is worn, but gives it much character. His arms and legs are both jointed.
A nice little school made project from the 1946 era!!
