J & G Meakin Flow Blue Acantha Pattern Bone Dishes
This is a set of 5 lovely bone dishes in the Flow Blue pattern Acantha by J & G Meakin, Handley, England. The mark dates these to between 1890-1912, which is the Crown and Double Circle.
These measure approximately 6.5" x 3.25". They are in very nice condition. The only exceptions to this is glaze crazing on all of them, which is fairly normal for items of this age. There is one that has a bit of yellowing in two spots under the glaze, and there is one with an old darkened glaze popped area on its rim,and there is one with a itty bitty nick on the back side, which I think these will show in my photos for you.
