Kirk Steiff Bookmark This is a monogrammed Sterling bookmark signed Kirk Steiff.

The monogrammed initials are REM. This is about 1.5 inches in length and 1 inch wide at the top.

I purchased this at an estate sale about 13 years ago and have had it in storage ever since. It is not a mint condition piece, but polished (which I have not done) it would be a great collection item.

Sterling Fairy Pin This is a nice art nouveau fairy pin marked Sterling with the letter S and a short line through the S. The mark is on the underside on left side as you look at it from the back.

This pin measures 1-5/8 inch tall and 1.25 inches at its widest point.

I acquired this about 14 years ago and have had it in storage, so it is old stock new to the market! I have not cleaned this piece as I usually leave that up to the collector.

Click for more detail...

Ballerina Slippers Sterling Pin This pin is marked Read & Barton Sterling. The Read is spelled as I have typed it, not the familiar Reed. A bit of searching on the mark leads me to the company of Read and Lincoln. They were established in 1890 by William A. Read in Attleboro Falls, Massachussetts. They made many sterling silver novelties. I can't say with absolute certainty that this is the correct company, but the mark is Read & Barton Sterling as I stated above.

The pin measures 1.5 inches at its widest point and 2 inches tall.

I acquired this pin about 14 years ago and have had it in storage all this time. I have not cleaned it as I leave that up to the collector.

Click for more detail...

Sterling Thimble This is a marked Sterling thimble, probably made in the late 1880s to the 1920s. The only mark found is the word Sterling.

There is a scroll pattern design at the base, and there is a pin hole in the top. I'm not sure if that is damage or if it is there on purpose. Perhaps a needle was pushed a bit hard at one time:)

This is about .75 inch tall and diameter is just shy of 2 cm.

I acquired this about 14 years ago and have had it in storage all this time, so this is vintage new to the market! I have not cleaned it as I leave that up to the collector.

Click for more detail...

Sterling Saddle Ring This is a marked Sterling Saddle Ring, possibly made by Veva Dale Bailey of Dayton, Nevada. I found information on her at an outside web site and she wrote the following information about herself: "I have made my own jewelry since 1953 using my Mother's old costume jewelry. I had an opportunity in 1994 to become an Silver Smith Apprentice from Richard Byrne and have never looked back."

This ring is a size 7. It is marked on the underside, center area, with the word Sterling over a bell with the word Bell inside the bell.

I acquired this ring about 14 years ago and have had it in storage all this time. I have not cleaned it as I leave that up to the collector.
