I'm not sure it works as I have placed it in direct sunlight and the indicator doesn't move. The case has some damage to the zipper and is marked on the inside with the original owners name and address on one side and a piece of paper with information about camera film (handwritten) on the other. It also has a nice long chain attached to carry this around your neck.
